Yes I love classical, cinematic and lots of other genres, but I LOVE funk. I mean pure funk. Greasy funk. Any funk I can get.

Hello people. So I have been trying to think outside of the box lately… my box anyway. I decided to try an upbeat dance type tune just to test my versatility. I wanted to make something that sounded current if you will, but also contain some old school funk which I absolutely love. This is way off the path of cinematic and classical style pieces that I normally make. I play my share of funk live in The Central Park Band but I wanted to create something. It is a very short 1 minute piece “on purpose”, but it honestly took me a few nights to finish. I have to say it was harder than I thought it may be but it didn’t help that I had no experience in this type of music at all. Well enough rambling. Please have a listen if you get a minute “literally” and let me know what you think.

Hello all and happy New Year! I just finished a really pretty piano piece. It’s simple, but quite serene.  I love music that can take you away from all the stress in your life. It’s nice to engage and sit back and truly relax your mind and soul.

Well this year has really flown by and Christmas has come and gone! Coming up in January 2017 I will be working on short backing tracks that will be geared towards radio/tv commercials. These short backing tracks will be less melodic, sound less like actual songs but be more like background music giving room for the vocal advertisement in the center. I hope to be able to get at least 4 pieces done next month but time will tell.

 Welcome to the launch of my new website. This month I am working on a Christmas themed project where I will be composing short 1-1.5 minute Christmas themed songs. These short pieces should be beautiful for use in TV/Radio or online commercial applications. I love this time of year. With the seasons changing and the special time with family and friends and the overall meaning of Christmas which is the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
